ABOUT

As the son of a drummer, and traveling throughout the country as a child, it was only a matter of time before Tim Branom would play music himself.
Branom was originally based in Seattle, but it was only after moving to Los Angeles that Branom found the elements of the two environments would greatly contribute to his music. By Producing, writing Liner Notes, Mastering and Editing, his name can be found on hundreds of CD's. And as a Producer in the genres of Pop/Jazz/Blues, his credits also include working with Rock bands including Alice In Chains vocalist Layne Staley, bassist Mike Starr (Alice In Chains, Gypsy Rose) , alongside greats such as Nile Rodgers & Bob Clearmountain for Rock Band 2, and a partnership with guitarist Steve Vai for a Classical Music label called Classical Nation.
For most of the 90s, Branom sang for Cloud Nine until finally going out on his own as a solo artist while being sponsored by JVC Records Japan. He then worked as a guitarist in the studio with Days Of The New, performed and recorded with Carly Smithson (American Idol, The Fallen) and even briefly fronted Fifth Angel.
His current plans are recording singles and more music videos in 2024.
Tim Branom is a BMI songwriter. His music has been featured in TV shows (The Tonight Show, MTV) and films such as The Marsh. His hometown roots have made him a go-to interview for books about the Seattle music scene of the 80s and 90s, discussing Grunge, Alice In Chains and the early Metal scene. He was named one of the Top 15 Alternative Rock Artists of 2016 by Alternative Nation Magazine.
